Playfield – From DTC Launch to Vogue & Premium Retail in 16 Months

From selling DTC to selling in National Retail in 16 months, Playfield is making a fashionable statement on how to integrate pets into life on the go. To launch, Playfield was consulted by Colorbrand NYC from end to end to reach the market. The name of the business, the product construction and final development, the sales language and tools including the packaging and website, and finally the aspirational place of "Playfield" revealed through the photography were all consulted and crafted by Colorbrand. It caught the worlds attention within weeks of launch. From posting to socials and starting with an audience of zero, Vogue reached out to feature the product in editorial, moving forward to feature Playfield a total of 4 times in launch year. Within a year of launch, Playfield landed a national retail placement in Chewy. Now that's a skyrocket.
Playfield encourages pets and their people to build a stronger connection with each other while exploring the world as their Playfield.
